Miasto Stołeczne Warszawa has supported the development of Polonia Warsaw for many years, serving as a key partner in sports, youth training, and the promotion of physical activity among the capital’s residents. The cooperation between the Club and the city is long-term and encompasses both educational and promotional activities. The year 2026 is merely the next stage of this relationship – formalized in the current agreement – but Warsaw’s partnership and support for Polonia Warsaw dates back much further.
As one of the largest patrons of sports in Poland, the city allocates significant annual budget funds to support clubs, academies, and sports organizations. This is achieved through grant competitions and special programs supporting children and youth training, the development of sports infrastructure, and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
Polonia Warsaw has benefited from this support system for many seasons, developing its senior and youth teams and organizing educational and sporting events for the local community.
As part of the ongoing partnership, the Capital City of Warsaw serves as the Club’s Official Partner, benefiting from a wide range of promotional activities conducted by Polonia during league matches, club events, and Academy activities. This includes displaying the Warsaw city logo at the stadium, in print and digital materials, featuring the logo during television broadcasts, promoting the partnership on the Club’s social media, and joint activities during city events and Academy initiatives.
Thanks to the City of Warsaw’s involvement, Polonia can pursue not only its sporting goals but also its broader social mission – supporting the development of the young generation, building a local community of fans, and promoting an attitude of activity and openness, consistent with the philosophy “Warsaw is for everyone.” The joint activities of the Club and the City strengthen Polonia’s presence on the national sporting scene and highlight the importance of sport in the lives of the capital’s residents, making this partnership one of the pillars of sport development in Warsaw.
